Best wireless gaming headset for $100 !

So my current headset ( turtle beach x12 ) served me well but the twisting and curling of death cause what i think to be some kind of tear in a connection or the wire, basically i was playing rust and i heard a snap, crackle, pop and now theres a weird whining type sound in them. So I'm looking for the best wireless headset for around $100. Currently i am considering this

How is it better? Im going to be using it for games like bf4, rust where hearing enemy footsteps is important, i also play games like maplestory ( :p ) where the audio concentration is background music, so i would like that to sound good 2 :)

Well my son is a pilot so he went out and bought the fancy $500 flight stick and the $375 Sennheiser headset .... he kept the stick and throttle, tossed the headset and replaced it with the logitech.

Reasoning:

a) He got tired of standing up an ripping the headphones off his head (wired)
b) He can't hear a difference in sound quality.

Do the logitech ones have better sound quality, i kinda like the corsair ones cause the microfiber earcups, i kinda dislike the leathery stuff the logitech uses, but any idea which one is better for games like bf4? And is there a delayed response due to the headset being wireless compared to wired headsets?
