Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen:

I just bought an SSD today and would like to get some help with the installation process but also I would like to transfer my OS from my HDD over to the SSD so I don't have to run out and spend another $100 for another OS. Any helps or tips would be greatly appreciated.

1. Disconnect the data cable from old HD, Connect SSD to SATA 1 port.

2. Install OS on SSD, install drivers from MoBo CD and everything else

3. Run Windoze Update the 17 times it needs to get everything

4. Install all latest drivers.

5. Reconnect old HD cable on SATA 2

6. Activate Windows ... you don't have to transfer everything.

If you don't have ya code, run Belarc Advisor to get it
