SLI Without 1st Slot

Hey I recently built a new workstation and I can't seem to enable SLI, my guess is my current card configuration. The first slot is blocked by a water cooler so I can't fit my gpu in there, tried a couple combinations but everytime i boot with the SLI bridge on I get no video. I'm not sure if this was the right place to post this but I think it's related to my PCI-E slots so it seemed appropriate.

Specs are as follows

Xeon E5-2690v2
Asus P9x79 WS
2x GTX Titan Black
Rocketraid 2720SGL

Do you have your card cooled with one of those cheap aio coolers or an actual block?

The card is cooled with the reference nvidia cooler, its the same for all titans i believe, and its the radiator/fan from my cpu cooler that's in the way of the slot.

Can you take a picture of it from the inside of the case? I do a lot of custom loops, and mods. Maybe I can give you some advice on moving something around so you can fit the card in the slot that you want,

Its hard to see but if you can see the problem the radiator is in the way of the slot, and I can't move it up because theres no clearance in the case.

Just move it to the top right on the roof of the case. Those aio coolers can really flex a lot
