I am starting to wonder about the height of my RAM. Didn't think they may cause any issues. Currently looking at cases with side-window for around $50-60 and decent airflow. I would personally think they RAM may be ok since the middle of the RAM is flat and the edges stick up, but of course I can be wrong. What cases would you recommend for that price range with a side window and also will my ram be fine? If there is a cpu cooler that is as good or better than the hyper 212 evo that would work better with the parts I have already purchased please let me know.

You can't move the heat sinks. The fans can be moved.....Your pic still has the fan on the same side of the CPU as the RAM.

See the drawing in my last post showing the fan in the center and the 2nd fan on the right ? That blue dimension says if ya RAM is taller than 33mm, it's gonna hit theat fan as is clearly shown in the drawing.

So if using the Phanteks, take the fan on right and move it to the left away from the RAM

The hyper 212 should miss everything as it's a much smaller cooler and has only one fan. You can add a 2nd fan but then it's a $45 cooler and at that point, ya might as well get the Phanteks anyway.
212 evo comes with its own thermal paste

and enermax offers the best value for budget case (and a big window)

Corsair 500R is a $140 case that ya can get now for $60

$80 - USD $20 promotional gift card - $20 MIR

The Hyper 212 is very popular for the main reason that it is $30 and very affordable.... it can't compete with the better air coolers that will drop ya temps another 7C or more but the they are $65 and up. If $30 is ya budget limit, grab the Hyper 212; just be very careful when installing it as it has no protections against over tightening and you can crack or warp the mobo breaking circuit traces.

if ya have $65 budget fior a cooler, then I'd say grab the Phanteks PH-TC14-PE as it tops the others in the big 3 (Thermalright Silver Arrow, Noctua DH-14) by a little bit, is cheaper and is easily the best looking.

I don't see any RAM on ya parts list so can't comment on whether it will fit. Be aware though that these two for example are the exact same RAM.

Thewre is no reason to buy the ones with the tall toothy heat sinks as the only cooling function they serve is "looking cool". So just buy low profile memory and all will be right with your build. If ya already have it, then I have avoided issues by either lifting the RAM side fan slightly or moving it to the opposite side.

Well you could do w/o the tall fins thing .... just aesthetics.... generally cheaper w/o the fancy stuff.

The fans I am talking about are on the cooler not the case.

See how the RAM is below the cooler ... your RAM would hit a fan if it was put on the right side.... the fan extends below the bottom of the cooler. So you would either have to mount off center rising it a bit or you would have to mount the fans on the left side and center.

I can't tell the fan is in the center in that pic really. Though I think the hyper 212 evo's fan can be switched to a different side. If I removed the heat sink from the RAM it would probably void the warranty and chance or ruining them.
