Howdy great peeps,

After playing Watch Dogs with my GTX 660 TI, it all runs smooth,
(for some reason even better with that superb graphic 'E3 mod').

But I want to be able to put EVERYTHING on highest,
the Textures however, need 3GB VRAM for it to be set on highest (My 660 is 2GB).

When I set it on Ultra (3GB required) it goes extremely slow & laggy :(
On High (2GB) it runs smoothly..

Now the question itself:
Is it worth getting the GTX 770 4GB (I AM getting the GTX 770 2/4GB anyways this week),
purely for that extra 2GB? (I know it won't fully utilize the 4)
Or should the difference in performance alone make a difference? (Although it's RAM related?)

Thanks in advance,
Mike

If you really want to play watch dogs, i'd go for the 4gb version. Other games are starting to use more vram anyways. It won't help much right now, but if you go SLI and especially with multi monitors later, it could really help out.

So the €75 difference in price is worth it?
Well, the resolution I play with is 1600x900 lol ..

Only use 1 monitor, and probably always will.

I didn't know the price diff. was so large. If you are seriously considering sli / multi monitor then yea it would be an option, but otherwise i wouldn't.

I would suggest that you try to get another GTX 660TI with 2GB of VRAM (assuming your power supply is at least a 750W good brand, eg Corsair, Seasonic, XFX) and SLI. That would probably give a reasonable performance increase, even with the 2GB VRAM.

If you want to go ahead and get a GTX 770 get the 4GB card, the 770 will be able to use most of it, and it will give a performance increase.

Don't forget, Watch Dogs lags on everything, its badly optimised. So a GTX 770 wouldnt suddenly make you be able to play at 60 FPS.

Well my current Mobo does not support 2 GPUs..
And seeing as I recently (4 months ago) made this PC, really don't want to re-do it again :p

So 4GB would be the better choice?

Alright thanks for the help!
