I have an MSI GE70 2PC laptop and when i plugin the HDMI cable i get no sound output from my TV, instead the sound plays from my computer but the image shows on the TV. So another guy said that i should via the BIOS setup utility change the DVI-D to HDMI or something. Now i have an AMI BIOS and i can only enter APTIO utility setup with very little options. How do i fix these problems guys: Get sound on my TV through HDMI, Enter BIOS and not APTIO.

You need to select a different audio device in Windows, not the BIOS.
Right hand click on the speaker icon near the clock on your taskbar and click "Playback devices".
The default device (marked with a tick)will be something like "VIA High Definition Audio".
Right hand click on the device corresponding to your graphics or TV. This option could be something like "Intel Display Audio". Click "Set as Default Device".
Close your media player and open it again and the sound should now be from your TV.

Have a look too at the inputs on your TV. If the HDMI input has another audio input associated with it, try a HDMI input that does not.

Are you plugging it into an HDMI port or a DVI-D? has nothing at all to do with the BIOS so ignore him. you need to switch audio output to HDMI in the sound manager

Guys, first of all the icons for Digital Audio (HDMI) and Realtek Digital Audio in the sound manager are all greyed out and i cannot select them. I think this has something to do with my graphics card. I have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 850m GPU and i have read that HDMI 2.0 is not supported.. i dont know what this means quite frankly..

HDMI 2.0 was released last year. It offers support for 4K resolution at 60 Hz. It is likely neither your GPU or TV support HDMI 2.0.
This isn't your issue, all versions of HDMI support audio (1.0, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4).

If you right click on these "greyed out" devices, what options do you get?
Are you sure the HDMI input on your TV supports audio? This is optional for the manufacturer.
Are there other audio inputs associated with this HDMI input, e.g. RCA or 3.5mm audio jacks?

My TV works fine, it is a Smart TV and there are several HDMI inputs, DVI, ARCI, etc (which all work on my friends' laptops). I only get the option of seeing the properties for the device and deactivating it, and some useless info about the creator. The problem is, i get an image on the TV but absolutely no sound from it.

Another problem is, why am i entering Aptio utility setup, when i want to enter my BIOS setup?

I think Aptio is your UEFI BIOS:

As noted above, there shouldn't need to be any BIOS changes to get audio over HDMI.

Well i have downloaded the latest drivers, tried switching between HDMI cables, tried to plug it into another TV and nothing has worked.. I have not gotten any answers from MSI either..
