I decided to OC my Lenovo Y500's GPU which is a GT 650M GDDR5 2GB using Nvidia Inspector 1.9.7.2
GPU clock 790 MHz -> 924 MHz
Memory 2000 MHz -> 2400 MHz
Shader Clock : I cant seem to be able to adjust since the slider under Performance Level [0] and [1] is grayed out and it doesn't even appear in [2]
fan slider is also grayed out in Nvidia Inspector for some reason.
my GPU idle's at 59C-60C (prolly because I live in a tropical country) and when gaming it reaches 70C+...I don't know what the highest temp I've reach but I use GPU meter's alarm to alert me when it reaches 89C so i can stop to let it cooldown..oh and I also use a cooling pad to try and help
so my question is whats the maximum temperature can my GPU tolerate? I've tried searching for it on google and Nvidia's site but to no avail.
