Hello, I live in Canada and i have a old laptop i currently have Windows 7 installed. I wanted to install windows XP on it. Couple of weeks ago, i installed windows xp but i couldnt find any Drivers :( and switched back to Windows 7 sadly. People will say that windows xp is vulnerable and all but i am just opting for XP because i like it and it is good for playing games. So If someone can help me with this? I dont have any drivers example wifi or sound. But on my windows 7 i have wifi and sound drivers pre-installed. Someone please help me I have Dell Laptop and my model number is
"Inspiron 1546" Please help me :(

Thank you soooo much! :)

You must not be much of a gamer. New games wont even run on XP because the Directx version is too old. XP only supports dx9, win 7 supports dx11. As I said before it may not even be possible to install XP on that system as the proper drivers likely don't exist as most hardware manufactures abandoned it long ago.

IMHO you should stick with 7. For Xp you will have to go the the components manufacture and hope they made a driver since Dell does not offer XP drivers for that system. Most hardware manufactures discontinued making Xp long ago so it's very likrly some to most of the drivers you'll need don't exist.

Guys i don't want any lectures on staying on windows 7!(Sorry Haven't been this rude for a while). Windows 7 really sucks for gamers. I had XP on my computer the ram was low but the game was running better then my laptop 4 ram! I am sure i will get drivers or any help from here! :(
