Hi guys
I got 8GB (4x2) and 4GB (2x2) installed in my system. But i only see 8GB in Win7.

Here is what CPU-Z says:

The 8GB is in alternate slots (1 and 3) and the 4GB (2 and 4) is in the other alternate slots. From what ive read that should allow for mismatched ram to work.

Any idea what im doing wrong?
Thanks!
Arjun

The Corsair memory is 1333 MHz, while the G.Skill memory is 1600 MHz, if you want to use both memories you'll have to downgrade the memory clock and manually configure the system latency (#CAS, #RAS, #tRC, #tRAS, etc.) but doing that can make the system unstable, and you may have BSOD's.
Good luck with that!

What does it show in the memory tab? The SPD tab you are only looking at a single stick in each screen shot and all it shows is info on the sticks, nothing about what they are running at. Also what mobo, CPU and OS? You may need to raise the DRAM or MC voltage, can tell better with the requested info

most motherboards do that automatically. I haven't had problems with it. You may lose a tiny bit of performance though
