my laptop cannot change brightness

i have fujitsu lifebook fmv-a8270 running windows 8.1, intel core duo 2 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, mobile intel(r) 4 series express chipset family is up-to-dated. At first it can change the brightness, after a few day the brightness are not function when i toggle it. What cause the problem, all the drivers are up-to-dated

Yes, i buy a used lifebook, the fn key toggle brightness not work, when i uninstall the display driver then reinstall it, it got error 43. Then when i restart the laptop, the display driver is installed and the brightness toggle work, but after a few day it happen again

no, i am lazy of going there to change brightness. i solve the problem by install the graphic driver (not by microsoft corporation - wddm)
