The game in question is War Thunder; generally the game will crash on me after 3-5 hours of playing. I've had my Lenovo y410p for approximately a year and the original seagate HDD was faulty so I sent it to Lenovo to have it replaced. They replaced with a Toshiba HDD which seems to working fine. The computer wasn't restored to its previous settings as I chose to simply re-install programs as needed.
I run the game on medium although geforce experience tries to optimize it for graphics closer to high/max. The reason I don't play at those levels is that the fps will drop down below 50 which is too low for the game. Usually the game will begin to 'flicker' in the minutes prior to crashing. This flickering is a brief flurry of red 'shapes' or 'lines' (I don't know how to better describe them) on the screen. Before I had issues with Far Cry 3 though I haven't played the game since I received my computer back. My y410p has a Nvidia 750GTm and I believe it should be able to handle these game at medium without too much trouble. I have used geforce experience and device manager to try and update whatever drivers I could but they were all up to date.
