How to play DX11 games on a DX10.1 gpu?

Hi,

DirectX 11 is a superset of DirectX 10. It's fairly easy for developers to create a game that is compatible with both DirectX 10 and 11, but given that DirectX 10 GPUs are obsolete many software developers design their programs around either DirectX 9 (which is substantially different than 10/11) or DirectX 11.

Short answer is that unless the game has a DX 10 mode you can't.
