Looking to build a soft gaming computer (League of legends, Dota, etc.) I have a budget of $400 (the less the better!) and really don't know what im doing, anything helps! Thanks in advance!
This is one a friend of mine and myself threw together just yesterday for him. Prices might still be the same on Newegg. Plan involved him being able to upgrade to an i3 or i5 and an SSD for the main drive later on. Also all at the same vendor Newegg.
Actually the more the better. But it would be hard to get a really good gaming rig for just $400. Unless you want a crappy AMD. For a good gaming machine you want to spend at least $500-$550.
At this point some prebuilts may be better for price. I would skip the graphics card and get quality parts first. Also try to find a free optical drive, they are usually easy to snag.
