@ crisan_tiberiu: Not exactly, the newer chips are faster, each generation pushing a bit more each time, so jumping from an i7 920 to a Ivy Bridge CPU of similar clock rate will not be a big one, moving to a Haswell i7 will be, partly because of the improved efficiency and partly due to the much higher base clock.
@ Criso Antonov: Good plan, the GTX760 is good enough to run everything out there at at least high settings decently@1080 rez and a bit more power will help to keep the OC stable.
One point, I'm running an i5 750@3.4GHz and it's not restricting my HD7950 (very similar to the GTX760 in overall performance) at all, even with the card lightly overclocked to 940/1400, so you'll probably not need to push the current CPU too hard.
