Would my Antec EA-650 be safe to use in a new build?

Hi everyone,

I am looking to build a new gaming pc, as my older one is having trouble with some of the newer games. I am looking at an i5-4590 cpu and gtx 660 superclocked gpu.

However, I have a 5 year old Antec EA-650 power supply, and I was wondering how safe it would be to re-use it in the new build? I've never had any problems with it, but if it is too dicey I don't want to risk it.

I appreciate any advice, thank you

the above posted isnt haswell compatible. that doesnt mean you cannot/shouldnt use it. you will have to disable c6/c7 sleep states in bios. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Intel-Haswell-PSU-Power-State,22320.html

antec earthwatts are very good you could use it for your new buid. could you post the exact model? to determine if its haswell compatible?
