I am trying to stay around the $50 range for 2x4gb of RAM.

or

Will a 1x4gb of RAM work with my current RAM?????

Current : ADATA XPG Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Trying not to spend to much but not end up screwing myself over because I am cheap :p

Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Would it be possible to add a 1x4gb and then use my 2x2gb?

mixing ram can be very problematic , it may work but there are no guarantees
for best results order the same 2x2gb sticks of adata with same serial/model no , same timings voltages etc
