here is a Youtube Video of my HDD. after i have traveled i think it got a pump or something. everything looks in order other than this malfunction.

btw it's a WD5000AVDS

Run Checkdisk on it. Put it in another pc if you have to.

Also check it with Data Lifeguard Diagnostic (from WD)

Then I think it's dead.

Try to read it in another pc, run checkdisk and do a diagnostic.

If you acn't even see it on another pc then bin it.

Now, with the platters exposed, you turned it on
It is still acting up, or possibly getting worse.

It was dying, and then you killed it.

Opening a drive like that should only be done by 1. someone who knows what they are doing, and 2. in a cleanbox or clean room.

As to getting the data off it? Only one person knows...that is the expensive data recovery guy you send it to.

This is specifically why people have backups of critical data. A picture that lives on only one drive may be said to not exist at all.

If by making this video you just want to show people exactly what happens inside a dying drive, cool.

Doubtful you will ever retrieve any viable data off it. And the more you mess with it, that chance rapidly approaches zero.

Can you "fix it"? No.
Could I "fix it"? No.
After you opened it and ran it can anyone 'fix it' and retrieve any viable data? Doubtful.

There is no *positive* result here. It was already bad. It is now worse.
