ok i have an older dell optiplex PC that i am trying to do a clean install of windows 7 on. I made a bootable flash drive. It goes through the process just fine in the begining , copies the files..then when it restarts the 1st time where you normally see the microsoft logo and the progress bar it looks basically greyed out and seems to be frozen at this point. I even tried install a copy of XP on it fomr a CD (ass it does not have a dvd drive) and it basically does the same thing. I have tried useing dif HD and 2 dif sticks of ram that i had.. same result?
