Hi there! Since I proved myself useless at building a cheap PC that runs well, I'm asking you guys! All my info's down there, and what I need!

Approximate Purchase Date:In about a month.
Budget Range: 900$!
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming is the most important thing here, followed by recording and video editing.
Are you buying a monitor: No.
Do you need to buy OS: No! (What's OEM?)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I don't mind anything, but newegg should be great! ^-^
Location: Western Australia. I don't mind shipping.
Parts Preferences: I honestly prefer the Asus GeForce GTX 770 as a graphics card. The core; I don't know, just a powerful one thanks, because I play Minecraft and it relies heavily on the CPU.
Overclocking: Yes! I don't know how, but I definitely will. (only cpu and gpu.)
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, I might buy another 770. In the future though.
Your Monitor Resolution:I have a 1920x1080 monitor; and I'm looking forward to maxing most games out on it with this.
Additional Comments: In the case; it doesn't need to be extremely fancy, but I don't want it to be extremely dull either. I want it to look nice please. I play only one game right now, but I want to play LoL, WoW, BF4, all the new modern games so far. I still want to continue with Minecraft, but I want to max it out while recording too. I need a quiet PC; I can't stand a noisy PC.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Well; I have a Mac. A family mac. I can't even stand the 17~fps I get on the lowest settings+FPS booster for minecraft.

Thanks for reading; and for your time. :DD

Actually just answered a build question like this: this is what i told him to use:

For MOBO: Dont go cheap but also dont buy one with stuff you will never need. For that processor (The same one I have actually, very good processor) I would recommend the ASRock z87 Extreme4

For CPU: The i5-4670k can easily handle most modern single-threaded games right now. And even the VERY FEW that utilize hyper-threading it still will play very well on.

For RAM: Vengence is very good ram but you can find ram for similar performance for a better price. My Recommendation would be: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 2x4gb. The mobo i recommended utilizes dual channel ram. so having two ram sticks will give better performance.

For HDD: I would recommend the WD...

For HDD: I would recommend the WD Caviar Blue series, its like 8 dollars more but its 7200rpm instead of 5400 which will make a difference in game loading times

For Video Card: This is where that money you save from the ram will come into place. The radeon r7 250 will be able to play games but it will not play them at the quality you can get for a 900$ computer. For that budget I would recommend the r9-270x. Much better. Hits fairly good FPS for a budget computer.

For PSU: You are gonna want at least a 500w I will attach a pcpartpicker link for all of this.

For Case: I highly recommend the Antec 900 comes with 4 fans and is a fairly big mid-tower case

For Monitor: This will also be in the ppp link. Dont forget a DVI cord I will include that also.

This is a pretty good computer for 930$ after rebates. Its a little over budget but it would perform well. IF you really cant go over budget then you could borrow a monitor from a friend or look around craigslist or ebay and you could probably find a cheaper one used.
