Dell dimension was fine one day and no power next . I just got new RAM and power on button. I pulled out the heat sink and didn't know the cpu was adhered to it, now pins bent. Will ruining the cpu cause no power?

Ruining the pins will not cause the PSU to go bad. However, it the computer was turned ON with bent pins there will be sparks, magic smoke, and the motherboard and the PSU may be ruined.

If this is an old Dell Dimension maybe it is time for a new computer.
