lot of people told the cx series have a bad capacitor...
but i have 3 corsair cx series at home , 2 corsair cx 600M + 1 corsair cx 750M and i never had any problem since 3 years now ...but the semi-modular look better then the non-modular one like you have

I used 5 of the CX PSU's, when they first came out since they where from Corsair and had a great review from johnnyguru. 4 failed after a year(random shutdowns) and I replaced the 5th as a precautionary measure. The 4 that failed where 2 cx600's and a cx600m and a cx750m. Maybe badboyrog2 just has better luck than me.
