My 7850 HD Overheating ?

So Ye , I Never Bothered To Check My GPU's Temp Till Today.....I Lagged Way Too Much In BF3 So I Wanted To Know What's The Problem....I Tried To Touch My PC's Case (Spot Around The GPU) And It Almost Burnt My Hand I Downloaded GPU-Z And Checked The Current Temp While Playing And It Was 72°C ....Isn't That The Lag Problem ? Isn't That A Problem For The GPU Itself ? Please Help I Am Confused ._. (My GPU Is NOT Overclocked)

My System Specs :

4GB RAM DDR3
WIN 7 64 BITS
7850 HD 1GB (DDR5)
i3 2120 3.3Ghz

"Lag" is a problem with an internet connection on an online game. If you mean the game got choppy looking because the fps were low, does it only happen on that game?

So Far....Ye It Happens....Only On BF3 , And My Ping On The Server Never Passes 50ms So Its Not A Connection Problem

You should be able to run BF3 at about 35-40fps at 1080p on ultra on a 7850 so right at the edge of not being playable. It's possible you might have to drop down to high to stay above 30-35fps. What are you fps normally, what resolution are you running, and what settings?

It isn't restarting because of temps, your temps are fine. Try uninstalling the drivers, completely cleaning them out with a program(link below), and then install the newest drivers off of AMD's site.

Well Did Like You Said....Then Went To Play "Batman: Arkham Origins" The PC Overheated Really Quickly And Turned It Self Down...... Now I Cant Turn It On Anymore.....PSU Problems ?

Probably. Your GPU temps weren't high at 72C under stress, but you didn't mention your CPU temps under stress, only at idle. What PSU are you using?

No name power supplies are overrated by 50%, sometimes even 100% and are made with poor quality components. If it's actually only putting out 350w, that could be the problem or if it's just a piece of junk, that could also be the problem.
