Overclocking Help Please!

I have heard that overclocking your CPU can increase the performance in games.
I have an i3 4130 and am trying to find out if over clocking is worth it for me and if it will enhance the performance of my games. I know that overclocking generally requires a decent cooling system, though I only have the stock fan. I have never overclocked before.
Should I overclock my CPU?
Can I overclock my CPU?
Will i see a difference in the performance of my games?

You NEED an aftermarket cooling system in order to overclock, but besides that, you are unable to overclock because you don't have an unlocked CPU. To tell if it's unlocked or not, at the end of the name there's a "k".
