First of all sorry if this is posted in wrong section. I'm new here.
I'm planning to build a completely new system for 40000 INR ~ 665$ can extend upto 700$ max
This one is for home use and occasional gaming for fun.
Here goes my conf.

i3 4130 4th Generation : Rs. 7334 ~ 122$
MSI Z97 PC Mate: Rs. 8295 ~138$ (I chose 9 series for future proof but not sure as ddr4 coming soon)
Antec Air Cooler Series A20 CPU Cooler :Rs 770 ~ 13$
Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4 GB PC RAM : Rs 3200 ~ 53$
Western Digital 1TB SATA Internal Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX) : Rs 3765 ~ 62$
LG IPS Monitor 21.5 Inches (22MP55HQ): Rs 8700 ~ 144$
Seasonic Eco Series 500W Power Supply (SS-500BT) : Rs 3315 ~ 55$
Case : Rs 3000 ~ 50$ Not decided need recommendation.
Keyboard & mouse : 25$ Not decided.
Optical drive : From Old PC.

Total : 662$

Is it worth going for 9 series chipset as I'm building completely new build? My old PC is P4 :p
And Need some suggestions for case.
Feel free to give me better options for above components in the price range.

Regards.
Harish

Solution
Assuming that you mean R7 240 - GTX 750 as an entry level card, 430 watts should be fine. Anything better and you should invest in an efficient 500 watt PSU. The price difference shouldn't be too big as well.

I felt the same but Z97 is cheaper than H97 in my place. So thought of going for it. Also can be used with broadwell chips later.
No games in particular (I'm not gamer :p)but suggest some low end graphics that is better than onboard if required for day to day activity like browsing/ HD videos ect.

@Joseph DeGarmo Thanks for suggestion. Will see if I can extend budget now or wait couple of months and get a good GPU later.

@stark 33 Thanks for pointing out. Indeed I was not sure about psu. I will go for a 450W or is 400W is more than enough?

I just want to be sure there shouldn't be any bottlenecks with CPU.
For PSU I guess I'll go with this one, seems promising.
Seasonic S12II 430W

The setup will cost atleast 1.2k(20$) higher than 1 4GB RAM in my country. Is it worth the extra cost?
What I got from net is there will be around 10% increase in performance but not much noticeable.

This build is not for gaming, just for a lag free browsing/video streaming/basic applications which will be using single core. I guess intel's single core performance is better than amd's . Also I get a good upgrade path.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
