Hi, just wondering if it's best to have your case fans blowing air out or pulling it in to your case for cooling, or a mixture of both? If a mixture is best what would be the best arrangement?

The case will be the Corsair Carbide Series 300R, which has 2 side, 2 top, 2 front and 1 rear fan mount.

Cheers :)

Front fans are for intake
Rear fans are for exhaust.
Top fans are for exhaust (hot air rises)
Side fans are usually for intake.

ALWAYS a combo of the two - u want a little more air being pulled in than expelled, as this will build pressure in the case, aiding the fans that will b expelling hot air.

Typically u pull in air at the front, and expel from the back and sides for example.

If u hav an air cooler on yo CPU, point it t blow air towards a rear or top fan that expels air

Try SEARCHING the site you're on. Tom's has an air cooling guide, give it a read.
