I just did a fresh install of Win 7 on a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q870. While trying to configure my own requisites, I found that when I click on "Power Options>Change Plan Settings the window that appears has only ONE option there (see jpg) where I can choose when to "Turn off the Display". The other 3 options [ "Dim the display", "Put the computer to sleep" and " Adjust plan brightness" ] are not displayed. Can someone suggest why & how to remedy this? BTW I have not installed any of the drivers yet but as far as I understand this should not affect the Windows install. {or maybe I'm wrong (again!)}. I would have uploaded some jpgs here but couldn't find where to do that.

It is very likely that those functions are part of a driver package. Your model has quite a few drivers available relating to power so I'll suggest installing those (actually get all drivers installed and updated) and seeing if those options show up then
