NZXT H440 Problem with Windows

Now I guess I've always been old school, with the discs and all but how do you install windows 7 and 8 on a external cd/dvd player or usb? Is it a problem not having cd/dvd drives? More or less I guess what I am asking is can you install fresh systems from external cd/dvd player and/or usb? Even if its a fresh clean build?

yes u can install Windows from a USB http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-windows-7-to-usb-external-hard-drive-must-read/ <--read this if u want to know how to put Windows 7 on the USB first.

You only have 2 options.

Use a USB external CD rom or use the Windows USB tool from Microsoft http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

You need to create an ISO from your Windows disc which is simple, then load it onto the USB using the tool.
