Hey there.

After a few months of searching around and looking at benchmarks I think I have come to somewhat of a decision.

I want to play pretty much every game on highest settings at 60fps on 1080p.

My biggest concern is the motherboard. It doesn't have many people using it and certainly nobody is using it with the i5-4670 (on pcpartpicker that is). Will it be fine? My colour scheme is black and green so this motherboard is quite important for my scheme. It also has a cool green illuminated lane on the PCB.

I also will probably not overclock (this would mean I would have to spend an extra $30 on the 'k' version and an extra $40 on the cooler) but if I wanted to, could I? The article bellow shows someone overclocking the i7-4770k, but I thought you needed a Z87/Z97 motherboard. I'm a little confused.

My budget is $1200 AUD. Also keep in mind that these are Australian prices so it is a little bit ridiculous.

Thanks for reading!

PS. I know: No colour scheme. But this is superior in any other way: new cpu, new and better mobo, better psu. And, more important, R9 290 is stronger than GTX780. Your original build has a GTX770. If you really want to play pretty much every game on highest settings at 60fps on 1080p then think about it. Good luck mate!
