I really want to get my pc list perfect for its performance, cooling, gaming, and last for a very long time. I have did some research that you can definitely play in 4K on a 780. It's just that when I looked over the msi gtx 780, it has a display port version1.2, so does the EVGA super locked ACX, with the msi 780 it says Display output max res is 2560x1600, it didn't say any res for the evga. On the msi is the display out put according to all ports or just the display port, and how can I play at 4k on the new asus 4k pb monitor @ 60hz? Please help, it is VERY ERGANT AND I BEG! Which port do I use?

The displayport output should be up to 4096x2180. The resolution of the ASUS PB287 is 3840x2180.
You're best to use displayport as this will drive the PB287 @ 3840x2180 at 60Hz refresh rate whereas the hdmi will only it at 30Hz.
