After a long haul with my EVGA GTX 560 it is time to put her down. I am looking to replace with a mid level card in the $150-300 range. I have a few cards that I am considering after researching them and I was looking for some solid advice. Which of these two cards would be better or do you have a different card in mind that would be. Thanks!

Go with an R9 280. It's a very good card and well within your budget.

Right now I have a AMD Phenom XII x4 965 BE (4.0 OC), 72GB Mushkin SSD, 1 TB 7500RPM HDD, 8GB 2x4 DDR, 800W ATX PS, ASUS M4N68T-M V2 mobo.

My monitor is 1080p and I have a second smaller monitor that i run at 1280x1024.

really, because of the cpu, any card listed will do. I get the 270. more than enough. I don't like the small bus on the 750.
