I do not know much about computers and I wanted to see what my computer is worth in order to try and sell it. The main reason I want to sell it is because 1) i do not know enough about computers 2) I am considering buying a console PS4. The main reason I am getting a console is to play Planetside 2 when it comes out for PS4. My current system cannot run the game without 10-20 FPS in huge battles and I don't know enough about computers to upgrade it. Even if I did want to upgrade it I would want a top of the line computer that could play it flawlessly which would seem like it would cost way too much. Here are my specs:

Windows 7 Profesional
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.34GHz
6.00 GB RAM
64 bit operating system

soundblaster 24bit advanced hd
Radeon HD 6900 series graphics card

I also have a FLATRON W2241T 24inch LG screen

any help would be great. thank you for your time.

Unfortunately, trying to sell an old PC is a lot like trying to sell a used car: people look for anything wrong with it and if they find any obvious and significant defect with it, the value drops like a bag of bricks.

If you sell the GPU separately, the rest of the system becomes nearly worthless since almost nobody will be interested in paying money for an under-powered incomplete system unless you sell your system for cheaper than the spare part(s) they need... once the GPU is gone, the rest of the system is worth $50-75. Practically not worth selling in my book.

A HD6900 on a C2D-E8200? Ouch. My E8400 was already a bottleneck for my HD5770.

Since your CPU is nowhere near powerful enough to drive a HD6900, you are going to have a hard time selling the PC itself for more than $125-150. You could probably sell the GPU separately for about the same amount.
