My friend's looking to upgrade his desktop to be able play some extra games. Nothing too demanding. He's just looking for things like LoL, Assault Squad 2, Rust, Minecraft, Civ, Total War, etc. He's only looking to spend like 100 bucks max. I thought the r7 240 ddr3 (either 2 or 4 gb, with what's available) might be a good card, but the 7750 would let him do more. Would he safely be able to run either of these cards and what would you recommend?

100-127/220-240Vac, 6/3, 15A(6/3, 15A), 60/50Hz

That's important somehow, right? haha

It's a 300w power supply that comes in it. You're gonna be pretty iffy on adding just about any card without upgrading the power supply.

Skip any cards that come with ddr3, they're considerably slower than the same model card with ddr5. Ignore the fact that the ddr3 cards come with 2GB ram vs 1GB for the ddr5, the ddr5 are still faster.

Personally I'd go with a GTX750. They are rated to work with a 300w power supply at $110-$120 and are much faster than an r7 250 or 7750.

Wow, I didn't know GTX750s are rated for 300w psu's. Would it almost be better to just buy a cheaper card + a more powerful psu? Are you fairly certain the 750 would work with this psu? I don't know much about it, other than its wattage; I'm in a different state lol.

Thanks
