So my Mobo is the Gigabyte 970a-UD3P and I was wondering if the chipset is compatible etc. I was also wondering how much i'll be able to overclock the cpu to with this Mobo and whether I will need to upgrade my psu.
For power consumption I will have:
r9 290
1 HDD
1 SSD
970A-UD3P
2x4gb ram
So to reitterate:
1)Compatibility
2)Overclock capability with a-for mentioned mobo
3) Power consumption in system and its affect (will I need to upgrade psu)
*EDIT*
I meant the 4670k, sorry, my bad. Changed the title as well

Solution
1. Not compatible. The Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P is an AM3+ socket motherboard. The Intel i5-3570K uses LGA 1155 socket.
2. N/A because of #1. Not compatible.
3. You have two R9 290 in CrossFireX configuration? If so, then I recommend at least 850 - 900W. If it's a typo and you have one, then a 550W PSU is sufficient. I don't know if you need to upgrade your PSU because you didn't list what it is.

My PSU is a gold EVGA fully modular 650w:

ASRock Z77 Pro4? 60 GBP is rather low for a good motherboard. The Pro4 comes with 4+2 power phase and is okay for overclocking. Not great, but you can get about 4.2GHz to 4.4GHz on it.

Notable mention, the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H is over your budget by about 10 GBP, but it is a much better quality motherboard.

How high clocks could the Gigabyte GA-Z77-d3H reach, can you make an estimate?

You will run into heating problems before you have issues with the Gigabyte motherboard limiting your overclocking potential. So I wouldn't worry about it. Most CPUs can overclock to 4.5GHz. You would need a really good chip to even reach 4.7GHz - 4.8GHz. I believe you need a top 30% to hit 4.7GHz. Top 15% to hit 2.8GHz and more. Not all CPUs are created equally. Some overclock better than others. It's a game of luck and chance in how well your CPU will perform. There's no way to tell how good the CPU is before you test it out and try overclocking it.
