Asus 3 rampage extreme mobo
Intel 950 core I7 3.3 ghz quad core,
Mushkin ram + corsair ram 21gb
Nvidia GTX 480

I am still having issues with my graphics card. Every time I log into windows with display drivers it freezes up and either automatically restarts, or I have to force shutdown. Now if I go into safe mode and uninstall the display drivers and boot into windows normally, everything works fine.

Is it simply my GPU dieing or is there another problem that is happening?

Thanks

Bit version maybe? Make sure on the website here you're selecting 64 bit (I'm assuming you installed 64 bit windows with that much RAM?): http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
