Ok so I have a Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB SSD and it's currently the only drive in the system so it's got the OS, drivers, War Thunder, League of Legends, Battlefield 4, and Guns of Icarus, that's literally everything on it. So I downloaded Borderlands 2 with 6.1 gigs of memory left to spare and it had a problem not starting up so I deleted all local content for the game via steam and made sure there was nothing left of it on the pc. But the problem is, I should have gotten back 7 gigs for the deletion of the game to have 13 gigs leftover, but I still have only 6.1 gigs left... it's like it never deleted it but it's hidden somewhere.... any help is greatly apprectiated! :) EDIT: I deleted Steam and every steam game on my system is gone and the memory has not been restored....

p.s. my system black screens when I log in unless I play a game... from then on until I turn the pc off the problem re-occurs when I restart it.

It never gave me the option to remove all local content for the other games, the games have to be re-installed but i have only 6.1 gigs left... the data is apparently there

Whenever I have deleted games while logged into steam, there is always an option to delete all local content from the computer.

Maybe the trim function is not working or maybe you need to give it some time to work?

Here's how to check and see if the trim function is enabled.

• To check TRIM:
Open the Start Menu, type CMD
Right click the icon and Run as Administrator
Type: fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify
DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)
To enable TRIM:
Open the Start Menu, type CMD
Right click the icon and Run as Administrator
Type: fsutil behavior set disabledeletenotify 0

Trim does not work with Vista or XP.
