Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop and I took Windows 7 off of it, and put on Linux Mint and Ubuntu. Well, I for some reason deleted the recovery partition on accident. I went to go put windows back on my laptop and it says that disks needs to be NTFS format. Any suggestions would help, thank you.

Solution
Do you want to remove either Linux Mint and/or Ubuntu and install Windows 7? Or do you want to remove both Linux OS and install Windows 7?

Do one of the following first:
1. If you want to remove just one of them, just boot into the other Linux OS and delete the other Linux partition.
2. If you want to remove both Linux OS and install Windows 7 over it, then boot into a Linux LiveCD and delete both partitions. You cannot delete a partition that is currently mounted.

Then reboot into the Windows 7 installation disc and create a new partition with the unallocated space. The Windows 7 installer can do that for you. After you created the partition, you can install Windows 7 on it.
