h105, m5a97 mobo and a fx 8350 4.9+ possible?

Title says it all. Thanks. Update i also have 8gb g skills

The thing im not sure about the most is the mobo. I've heard lots of diffrent things about this and idk if i should buy a new one or not.

Maybe, it will depend on if your CPU requires a lot of voltage or not.

More voltage = more heat, and less headroom for higher clocks.

I have the same mobo and it is a great one - but not made for overclocking. Your cooling is very good, but 4.9 would most likely be pushing it. I have seen many 4.6 stable clocks with an AMD 8350.

Nice. How much is that motherboard? i don't have alot of money and i probley wont buy one now but wondering, i have like 105 $ i can spend, but i know that motherboard is alot more.

Do you have a motherboard you would recommend? like $150? Like i said i don't need it now, but i plan to sli in the future so i will need one some time down the road.

I have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. One of the greatest/quietest air coolers on the market imo.
