Definately choose the MSI Z97 MPower it has a 12 phase digi power design which will mean a more stable overclock and your board will be alot stronger over time so extra reliability and also the MPower is designed for overclocking, its best if you choose one that suits your build, im getting a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK Black Edition as its a very good overclocker and its black which suits my build also audio doesnt matter as i am getting a sound card, so i might even get higher clocks then you who knows but the lowest board that i would overclock on is a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H as thats a little cheaper but it has a 12 phase design so it will contend with higher end boards but it comes down to preference, just look for a board with 12 squares around the cpu under the heat sink or looks for 12 phase digi power design and you will overclock like a beast

I did some research and the msi z97 mpower has 6 power phases doubled to 12 phases it has a hybrid power phase controller it does have a good power implementation . the gigabyte z97x soc force has true 8 phases it should overclock the best out of those motherboards but I don't like that the board has the usb 3.0 port placed on the bottom of the motherboard and it only has 1 usb 2.0 port . I decided to get the msi z97 gaming 7 it has the same specks as the msi z97 mpower and I got it with the i7 4790k in a combo deal from newegg.com for $487
