Will this build work?

I don't think so. I have had the PSU since Christmas 2013. If I don't return the PSU for a better one, will there be a big difference? Like will games be unplayable or will they still work fine? Also do you have any suggestions on new PSU's? I need about 500-700 watts and i'm kind of on a lower budget

It shouldn't effect performance. I don't know the unit that well, it seems with PSUs the only things of great importance are the total watts/amps, the efficiency, and the safety features. The others know better it seems, so maybe the safety or efficiency is kinda crappy?

Likely it will be fine for a while.

It's not a game-playing issue so much as a safety issue. PC components need clean power the same way your car needs clean oil. The PSU you have may serve you just fine, but there is an increased risk involved. I was hoping you had just bought the PSU, which would've made the decision much easier.

This is a very popular recommendation, for good reason:

If I got this build now and later got a better PSU the build would still work though right? I'd just rather spend an extra 50$ on the cpu/motherboard right now before I get a new psu, since i'm on a low budget.
