That processor will be ok, but a faster processor would help in cpu intensive games. If you get a faster processor go for an i3 4330 or an i5 4670k/4690k. I personally run an r9 270x with an athlon x4 760k (a10 with no igp) and I can play most games with good settings. I would get the gpu first then see what your performance is like. Then upgrade if you think you need it.
