I have a modem from the cable company which is connected to a switch and from the switch the whole house is wired to 9 router individually which then broadcast the same SSID.
Internet speed 10 Mbps

The problem is that on the devices(Wirelessly ) the speed is really slow(2 Mbps) and pages take really long to open, But when it is connected to the switch the speed(10 Mbps) is really really fast.
i don't know what type of connection the service engineers have done but they told me that the speed gets reduced when i'm connected wirelessly , Which i think shouldn't happen as only one device is connected wireless and the speed is really slow.

First i would like to know if this is true what the engineer said cause i think its all rubbish ?
(as i have seen the same set up at my friends house with 3 routers and the speeds are fine)

Is there any way i can cover 1 acre plot where the house(3 floors) walls are thick (barely letting any WiFi signal through), even if i have to buy new equipment its fine but the speed shouldn't be effected. and what type of connection should i make?

they also installed some antenna on my roof i don't know what its for but these are its option
: either its a wireless signal from the broadband company which sends it to the modem or it a wireless router for the yard

Thank you in advance

p.s. : price isn't an issue

Hire a Business Systems Analysis, or check your local listing for IT Contracting Services. It would be BEST to get a assessment from them on your plot, the walls, etc. Mentioning price no object leaves alot of room, but that still wont' help the thick walls, you will have to have a extensive wiring solution to Access Points (APs) that MAY be able to put a WAP at the end of it to make it wireless depending on the room sizes (be silly to put one in a small half bath for example unless you REALLY dont' care about wasting cash). Also for outside and so on that adds more dimensions such as tree, weather conditions (rain for instance cuts the wifi signal) and so on that only a ON SITE review would be best to your solution.
