Hey guys,

We have an employee who is encountering a 'Not Enough Memory' error when attempting to open a certain Excel file on their Mac. These files can be accessed by several employees on different machines, but the problem is only happening on the one. I know 'Not Enough Memory' is a default error that can apply because of a range of problems, and we believe it's happening due to the file being in .xlsx format. If it is saved as an .xls, they can open the file, but otherwise cannot. The file contains a number of formulas, and wouldn't be viable to change the original file to .xls format.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to alleviate this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

Many thanks,
Tom

What version of Office is the employee using? If it's office 2004 for mac I think they can't open xlsx and docx files!
