ubantu 14.04 LTS what is system requirement

hi i am currently using amd athalon !! X2 270 3.4 Ghz and (actually installed 4GB of DDR2 ram..system reading only 2.75 GB of ram) does adding a graphics card make any difference . Which vesion of (ubantu 14.04 LTS ) should i choose 32bit or 64bit . motherboard ASUS M2N68-AM plus

don't worry, luckily based on debian, ubuntu runs on nearly any hardware ,-)

if you want something more "straight forward" and a little faster, get Xubuntu
it's ubuntu with the xfce desktop (http://xubuntu.org/), which is much more lightweight and much more comfortable to use than unity (personal opinion)

I always pick xubuntu over ubuntu, jm2c

Thanks for answering my question how can i install Xubantu from my usb pendrive is it same procedure as installing ubantu

I recommend using Universal USB Installer for making a bootable USB pen drive. This works for any distribution.

With your hardware, get 32-bit edition. You will get less troubles moving in.
