I am in a bit of a fix here, i recently upgraded my pc - amd 8320 , r9 280x etc but i carried over my old rams Kingston hyperx blu 16000mhz, which i may add worked like a champ all these years. Now the problem is i have a 4gb ram kit ( 2x2gb), and i am not able to source another kit of the same. All shops, vendors that i have asked only have a 1 4gb Ram Dim of the same brand.
I wanted to ask the community, that can i add the 4gb 1 ram module or can they suggest me some other brands of same Latency, frequency etc which would be similar to the one i am using now ( 2x2gb).
Have gone through many threads, all say its ok if we mix it up if the criteria are met, is it true ?
