I need help so the Powercolor version is more expencive and if i buy it i cant buy my intended Hyper EVO 212 cooler.Im sure i could buy one in about like 2 months or 3 maybe...
My specs :
- CASE : Fractal Design Core 3000
- CPU :AMD FX-6300 3.50GHz
- CPU COOLER : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (IF I BUY THE SAPPHIRE VERSION)
- MOBO : Asus M5A97 R2.0
- GPU : AMD Radeon R9 280 Sapphire Dual-X Boost 3GB
- HDD : 'HDD SATA3 7200 1TB Seagate Barracuda
- RAM : DDR3 8GB 1866MHz Kingston HyperX Fury White CL10
- PSU : 650W Cooler Master G650M
I will mainly play games like Battlefield 4,Hardline,AC Black Flag,Sleeping Dogs,Watch Dogs and so on,also the new ones like GTA 5 and AC Unity when they come out.I have a 1080p monitor.
I've seen videos on youtube guys with a r9 280x(mine is not x) and they didnt OC ther CPU and they play just fine in 1080p ultra in many games.I think the Powrcolor has a better cooler than the sapphire version but i am not sure, that is why i need expert opinions and suggestions. Please dont suggest other versions these are the only ones i can afford,as far as others go i could also afford a GTX 760 ASUS 2GB(still cant buy a Hyper EVO 212 if i chose this one) or a lower R9 270x.I will list the full names of the GPUs as writen on the shopping site.
- AMD Radeon R9 280 Sapphire Dual-X Boost 3GB DDR5,DVI-I/DVID/HDMI/DP/11230-00-20G
-AMD Radeon R9 280 Powercolor TurboDuo 3GB DDR5, DVI/HDMI/AXR9 280 3GBD5-T2DHE/OC

Would you consider the msi version of the card? it is currently cheaper than both of those atm. Powercolor is an alright brand but doesn't have that great of support warranty wise. The sapphire card has really good cooling but I've noticed that some of their cards can be a bit loud when the fans get past the 70% mark. So out of those two the sapphire would be a lot better, but the msi card is currently cheaper, quieter, and also comes with a more aggressive overclock out of the box

The reason i recomend this was to reduce the cpu noise, since intel coolers are quieter then amd so you wouldnt need the evo, check the components i listed, the cpu is around 40$ more expensive but you would save them on the psu and motherboard.
that said, you can live for now whit the amd cooler and upgrade in a few months if you think its to noisy.
sapphire also gets my vote
