I know there are dozens of threads all over the internet about the dissappearing mouse on Wondows 8/8.1 but most of these seem to be solved by doing one of two things: unchecking the 'hide curser whilst typing' option or pressing the hide/show curser button on the keyboard (usually one of the function keys). Clearly neither of these have worked for me and although the troublshooter has detected an issue, it has been unable to resolve it. I have tried checking/unchecking every setting available for the mouse with no results. Obviously this is extremely frustrating so I would be very greatful to anyone who can help
