Hi! I'm in the process of installing this card and was wondering (since there is no manual):
I have a cable that is 8-pin in one end and 8-pin + 6+2-pin in the other end.
Do I need only this one cable in the psu to power the card?

So: 8-pin in PSU, and 8+6-pin in the card? Or do I need to draw two cables?

Cheers

If your power supply does not have the necessary PCIe cables, you may use the *Y* cable provided for you.

It is highly suggested you have a 'single-rail' power supply to use the *Y* adapter. A power supply with multiple rails may have amp delivery problems if it ain't got the juice on a 'smaller' 12v rail.

One 8-pin in PSU and the connectors on the other end in the GPU should work as long as you fill every slot on the GPU.
