I'm pretty new to this but I feel like my pc is due an update.
My processor is an AMD A8-6600K APU with onboard Radeon HD 8570D, 8GB of RAM - Would I be able to upgrade this without buying a new PC?
If this is too difficult to upgrade, or it'd be easier to start from scratch I'd be interested in building one so any tips for a Mid range gaming PC would be great
Thank you

*I live in the Uk and I'd mostly be using it for gaming, so anything that would handle the latest releases is good - doesn't necessarily have to be highest quality.

Well there are a few options here. Most likely, you are going to want a new video card. And depending on what power supply you have, you will most likely need to upgrade it to get a new video card. Here are a few options.

1. You can just buy a discrete graphics card and get better performance in your gaming. This option is by far the cheapest, but performance is not the greatest. You also might have to upgrade your power supply depending on what video card you get and what power supply you currently have.

2. You can get a discrete video card, and also upgrade your CPU to an A10-7850K. This is the best performance you will be able to get without having to buy a new motherboard to have more options on a better CPU. But with the A10...

But with the A10 going for $190, I think you would be better to get a motherboard/CPU combo for around $200, and get better performance for pretty much the same money. Also there is the same chance you will have to get a power supply.

3. You can get a new video card, motherboard, CPU, and power supply. This option will give you the best performance, but it will cost you the most money.

So really it depends on how much money you want to spend and how important better performance is to you. If you come up with a budget, I can give you some options.
