Right now I have a Evga GTX 750 sc 1gb. I am looking to upgrade to one of these three.
R9 270(x), 7950, R9 280(x). I have a 1600x900 monitor may get 1080p in the future. Wou;d my processor bottleneck the 7950 or R9 280 or 280x

Rest of PC specs.
8gb Ram
fx-6300
corsair gs700

You should get the 280x if you plan on upgrading to 1080p. The 280x is the perfect level of performance for 1080p - anything higher is not worth the extra money.

The FX-6300 with a mild overclock will not bottleneck the 280x much, if at all.

I vote 280x. If you buy that GPU, you won't be looking to upgrade again until you go for higher resolution monitors or multi-monitor setups.

I just got my pc a little while ago, I haven't a clue how to overclock. Can y'all point me to a guide? All of these cards have good prices on amazon warehouse deals. Will probably go 280x then, I wasn't sure if 3gb of vram would be overkill.

AMD Overdrive is one of the simplest utilities to use for overclocking. It has an autoclock feature built into it that overclocks your CPU to its max stable level.
