I live in India and here we practically have no brands but 4 main ones: Antec, cooler master, corsair, and seasonic. The rest of the local brands are the others are BULLS***. I was pretty clear on what to buy until i totally forgot about the psu and i had to re-plan my pc components as i am on a very TIGHT budget. Here is my pc plan so far:
intel i3 4130
asus/gigabyte h81 motherboard
G.Skill RipjawsX/ corsair vengeance 4GB
WD Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB HDD
LG optical drive
cooler master 431 plus
I plan to use this pc mostly for music production (using programs like fl studio and ableton to make some edm!!) and i probably will put a gtx 760 (in six months). Do guys think a 550w psu is good enough?? I am leaning towards the Corsair CX600, is that good?? Please help me!

Solution
The cx series uses cheap secondary caps and have a short life span. With corsair it's best th stick with the tx, hx and ax series. Seasonic would be a good choice. A good 500w would be Ok even with the 760 installed.

thanks man. But two things:
a) how people here at toms hardware have a bad impression on the CX series?? a lot of guys say it is of very low quality??
b) after going through psu many calculators; alot of them tell me different results. So with out the GPU would a 500w do fine?
